Privacy policy

Dinkwell is a trading name of Wolf Syndicate Pty Ltd (ABN 40 689 413 232) ("we", "us"), which operates dinkwell.com.au. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it and your choices. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

  • Order information: name, delivery and billing address, email, phone number, the items you buy and payment details (payments are processed by Shopify Payments or PayPal; we do not store full card numbers).
  • Account and contact information you give us when you create an account, subscribe to emails or contact support.
  • Device and usage information collected by cookies and similar technologies when you browse the store: IP address, browser, pages viewed, referring site and how you interact with the site.

How we use it

  • To process and deliver your order, send order and shipping updates and provide support.
  • To screen orders for fraud and comply with our legal obligations.
  • To send marketing emails if you have opted in. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
  • To measure and improve the store, including through analytics and advertising tools (for example Meta, Google, TikTok and Pinterest pixels and session-analytics tools such as Hotjar). These tools may set cookies and collect usage data in line with their own privacy policies. You can limit cookies in your browser settings.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only where needed to run the store: Shopify (our platform and payment processor), our fulfilment and shipping partners (including fulfilment partners outside Australia who dispatch orders, which means your name and delivery address are transferred overseas for delivery), email and analytics providers, and government agencies where required by law. We do not sell personal information.

Storage and security

Data is stored on Shopify's infrastructure with industry-standard safeguards. We keep order records for as long as needed for tax and legal purposes.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, unsubscribe from marketing at any time, or ask us to delete your account information (we may need to keep order records for legal reasons). Email hello@dinkwell.com.au. If you are not satisfied with how we handle a complaint, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
